And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
At Living Word Church of Deliverance, the five-fold ministry team is allowing the Spirit of Christ to use them to teach and preach, and heal souls, in the Name of Jesus. Following is just a preview of the "evangelistic" ministries at LWCD:
Nursing Home ministry--Through this ministry, we offer prayer and Bible Study on a weekly basis.
For the sick and shut-in, there is an In-Home Ministry--Through this ministry, we offer prayer, Bible Study, hospital visits, communion, and phone calls of prayer and support.
Living Word Church of Deliverance also supports many Outreach Ministries. For instance, we are currently partnered with World Vision Ministries, and sponsor a child in Albania. Additionally, we provide monthly support to Feed the Children and Samaritan Purse.
The Teen Sunday School Class promotes evangelism by serving at the Maryland Food Bank, and volunteering at the Grace United Methodist Church Soup Kitchen two Saturdays per month. Three times a year, LWCD hosts a Soup Kitchen--two in Maryland and one locally.
