Re: God's Plan of Salvation
My Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Your joy or your sorrow forever and always will depend of this one question: ARE YOU SAVED? Be mindful that the question asks if you have surrendered your entire life to Christ, because you believe that God sent Jesus to this earth to save you from your sinful nature. The question does not ask, do you go to church, do you treat people nicely, or do you give to the poor? But, “Are you saved? If you die today, are you 100% sure that you will go to Heaven?”
Our Father, God, says, in order for you to go to Heaven, you must be born again (John 3:7.) How can you be “born again?” First, admit that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us that, “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Because we ALL have sinned, and we were born into sin, we ultimately must die. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wage [price, payment for] of sin is death.” This death includes never-ending separation from God. Hebrews 9:27 tells us that, “it is appointed unto men once to die.”
Secondly, accept, by faith [what you can’t see, feel, or know, but believe in anyway] the FREE GIFT of salvation from Jesus Christ. When God created you and formed you in your mother’s womb, He had so much love for you that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believe in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16.) Second Corinthians 5: 21 tells us, “He [God] hath made Him [Jesus]to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness [right with] of God in Him.” Romans 5:8 reminds us that, “God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet [still, up until now] sinners, Christ [Jesus] died for us.”
Thirdly, repent [admit that you are wrong, and truly sorry for your wrongdoing, and ask God, through Jesus Christ, to forgive you] of your sins [wrongdoing]. In Acts 16:30-31, the jailor asked Paul and Silas, “What must I do to be saved?” They answered him with, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.” The word “shall” means you can count it; you can count on [believe in, trust] that you are saved.
“But as many as received [accepted, believed in] Him [Jesus], to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Beloved, you MUST believe and accept that Jesus died so that you could spend forever with Him in eternity, and not in Hell. No church can get you into heaven, your friends can’t get you into heaven, your parents can’t get you into heaven, ONLY GOD CAN by your willing ACCEPTANCE of HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and SAVIOR, simply pray this prayer:
Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I come to you a weak and heavily burdened sinner and ask You to forgive me. All the things that are going on around me, to me, and in me, are too much for me to bear alone. I now recognize that I need Your help. If I die today, I can’t truthfully say that I’d go to heaven. I want to go to heaven when I die. I fully realize that I cannot live this life without You by my side. Your Word [the Bible] says that, “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The Word also says that, “If thou [I] shalt confess with thy [my] mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine [my] heart that God hath raised Him [Jesus] from the dead, thou [I] shalt be saved.” I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus to shed His blood, die, and resurrect on Calvary mountain, so that I could have everlasting life. Thank you for such a precious gift. Thank you for coming into my heart, for giving me the Holy Spirit and for committing to being the Lord and ruler of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
If you have earnestly [sincerely, truthfully] said this prayer, WELCOME to God’s family. You may be wondering why you don’t feel any different. Feelings are flighty and temporal. God’s Word never changes. It is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. The power of God will keep you saved, and enable you to live the life of a Christian. Talk to God everyday through prayer. Allow God to talk to you everyday by reading His Word [the Bible.] And take every opportunity to tell someone, who is not saved, about the goodness of God.
We, at Living Word Church of Deliverance love you with the love of God. Be blessed.
